Who?
LG GROUP in Korea has, over the past few years, established overseas R&D centers under the auspices of the LG Elite (LG Electronic Institute of Technology). These technology centers are located in Russia ( Moscow and St. Petersburg ), Germany ( Neuss ), and in Israel (Herzliya).

Where?
The Israeli Technology Center (LG TCI) is located in Hertzilya city, one of the largest and fastest growing Hi Tech communities in the country. Established in July 1999, LG TCI operates to initiate joint R&D projects between LG companies and Israeli Hi-Tech organizations.

What?
LG TCI is constantly seeking and evaluating new technologies in fields of Cellular, Home Networking, Optical Networking, Components, Internet, Security, Information and Electronic Materials, Chemicals & Polymers. LG TCI encourages new technological companies / institutes from Israel for joint projects with LG in these cutting-edge technologies. Such projects will be co-funded by LG.

Methods of Cooperation

Joint R&D projects between LG R&D centers and Israeli research institutes and Hi-Tech companies.

Technology transfer to be implemented in future LG's products.

OEM contracts for products developed in Israel , shortening time to market and enhancing line of offered products.

Investment in seed stage and/or in more advanced stage.
